The following is a summary of our statement of faith. In other words, what we believe as Christ followers.
1. THE BIBLE
We believe this is the inspired and infallible word of God.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Further scriptures: 2 Peter 1:20-21
We believe the Godhead is eternally co-equal and co-existant in three persons; not three Gods but one; not one Person but three, namely the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Further scriptures: Mark 12: 29; Genesis 1:26; Deuteronomy 6:4
3. JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Thus we uphold His complete deity as well as His complete humanity; two natures but one undivided Person. Fully human but fully God.
30 But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favour with God. 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.” 34 “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” 35 The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called[a] the Son of God.

4. THE RESURRECTION
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that He ascended into heaven where He is now seated at the right hand of God, in the position of power and authority. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead.
Daniel 12:2 (NIV)
2 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.
34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.
Further scriptures: Mark 12:36; Mark 14:62; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 20; Philippians 2:8-11; Acts 2:33
5. LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST
We confess the Lord Jesus Christ and no other, as head of the Church, and as our Lord.
22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.
Further scriptures: Ephesians 4:15-16; Colossians 1:18, 24
6. THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
We believe that the Lord Jesus will show Himself in glory, majesty and power and in a physical presence. This is the second coming of Christ and the hope of the Church.
30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.

7. THE FALL
Every individual has sinned, is guilty before God, and therefore experiences a separation from God. Man by nature is sinful and incapable of saving his own soul.
Romans 3:10, 23
10 As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one;
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Further scripture: Ephesians 2:8-10
The Lord Jesus Christ, by His life, death, resurrection and ascension, has made available to all mankind the forgiveness of sins and eternal life. These blessings are made personally real to the individual, not by works, or by any personal merit in themselves, but by faith alone, which is accompanied by repentance.
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Further scriptures: Romans 8:8-13; 2 Timothy 1:9; Titus 3:4-7; Titus 2:11
9. THE NEW BIRTH
We believe in the necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit in the New Birth, which makes a repentant sinner a child of God being baptised by the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
Further scriptures: John 1:11-13; John 3:3-8; 1 Peter 1:22-25; 1 Corinthians 12:13
10. THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He is also an abiding presence in every Christian from the moment of their acceptance of Jesus Christ as saviour. We therefore believe in the continuous infilling of the Holy Spirit for every believer and the operation of all the gifts of the Holy Spirit according to the New Testament. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right and pleasing to God. As Christ-followers, we seek to live under His control daily.
18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.Cross references:
11. THE CHURCH
We believe that the true Church consists of the community of true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, who by faith have had their sins forgiven and have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. We believe in the fellowship of all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, recognizing that the true Church is not confined to any one denomination.
1 John 1:7
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
